The New7Wonders organization announced the following 7 candidates have been elected to represent global heritage throughout history. The listing is in random order, as announced at the Declaration Ceremony on 07.07.07. All the New 7 Wonders are equal and are presented as a group without any ranking.
The Acropolis, Greece; Alhambra, Spain; Angkor, Cambodia; Statues of Easter Island, Chile; Eiffel Tower, France; Hagia Sophia, Turkey; Kiyomizu Temple, Japan; Kremlin/St. Basil, Russia; Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany; Pyramids of Giza, Egypt; Statue of Liberty, USA; Stonehenge, United Kingdom; Sydney Opera House, Australia and Timbuktu, Mali are the others finalists, but the choice was by vote in sites ans sms by mobile phone and just the first seven were the more voted.
Oh, I´m so excited! The Christ Redeemer, in my city Rio de Janeiro is one of the new seven wonders of the world and I can see it every day!

3all i can say is wow... i really want to go see these places! especially the taj mahal... i'm a sucker for love what can i say...
4great ancient works, someday i want to go the place and feel the history of earth.
5I'm Brazilian, and I'm happy for the Christ, but I truly think that there are lost of more beautiful places to win...
I think it won because it's a Jesus Christ's statue, not because of the beauty of it..
The view is great, I KNOW! Don't kill me misspoli, hahahaha...
