The listing is in random order, as announced at the Declaration Ceremony on 07.07.07. All the New 7 Wonders are equal and are presented as a group without any ranking.

Oh, I´m so excited! The Christ Redeemer, in my city Rio de Janeiro is one of the new seven wonders of the world and I can see it every day!

Yesterday The New York Post announced that Gisele Bündchen left the lingerie mark Victoria Secret. Today, the Brazilian site "Estrelando" announce that the super model is already the substantial and exclusive face of mark Cacharel. The Brazilian beauty has signed a multi-million dollar contract to be lending her face to a new fragrance: Liberté.
Cacharel agent said that Gisele was chosen because she is gorgeous, have a big personality and is popular in Europe, Middle East, Japan and Chine.

The super model Gisele Bündchen announced the end of her contract with the lingerie mark Vitoria´s Secret in the New York Post. The newspaper told that her sister, Patrícia Bündchen, confirmed that Gisele decided let the line "Angel" because Vitoria´s Secrect denied to pay her five millions of dollars for year.
Its source said that Victoria´s Secret does not care for Gisele and that they have five new hotter younger girls debuting next year.

The supermodel Gisele Bündchen stopped to smoking last year and decided have a better palate. With these decisions she is now 13 pounds fattier. But it was good for her. Gisele is healthier and prettier than she was (is it possible?).
Her new body induce rumors about a pregnancy, but she said they are lies.

Acarajé Recipe - From Brazil

Acarajé is a Brazilian food, it´s very famous in Bahia, one of Brazil´s states. It´s a moisture of Brazilian and African cook. It´s a delicious fast food!
Try it!!!

Ingredients:
1 pound dried black-eyed peas
1/2 cup dried shrimp
3/4 cup roughly chopped onion
2 teaspoons roughly chopped garlic
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
Salt
2 quarts vegetable oil

Black-eyed Pea Fritters

Black-eyed Pea Fritter Sauce
1/2 cup dried shrimp
3/4 cup roughly chopped onion
1 teaspoon peeled fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt

Bahia´s cooker freet it and cram with a delicious souce!!! It´s very hot!

Directions:
Soak the black-eyed peas overnight in cold water to cover. Drain. Rub off and discard the skins. Soak the shrimp in cold water to cover for 30 minutes. Puree the peas, onion, shrimp, garlic and cayenne in a food processor. Season to taste with salt, if necessary. Form mixture into tablespoon size balls.

Meanwhile in a 5-quart pot or Dutch oven, fitted with a candy or deep-frying thermometer, or in an electric deep fryer, heat oil over medium-low heat until the thermometer registers 365 degrees F. Make sure you have at least 3 inches of space between the top of the oil and the top of the pan, as oil will bubble up when fritters are added.

Fry the fritters in small batches until golden brown all over, turning once. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve at room temperature with Black-eyed Pea Fritter Sauce.

Black-eyed pea Fritter Sauce:
Soak the shrimp in cold water, to cover, for 30 minutes. Drain the shrimp and puree in a food processor or blender with the onion, ginger and red pepper. Heat the oil in a skillet and saute the shrimp mixture for about 5 minutes. Season with salt, to taste. Transfer to a bowl and serve with fritters.
Yield: about 1 1/4 cups

Hummmm... it´s so good!!!

Brazilian singers Sandy and Junior are brothers and have worked together for seventeen years. They started when they were little kids and song country music. Then, they changed their style for pop.
Now, they want to go for different ways. Junior is drummer of the rock band Soulfunk and Sandy wants to sing Jazz. She is Ella Fitzgerald fan.
They announced the break up yesterday and told that the last production together will be "Sandy and Junior - Unplugged by MTV".
They made a international career, singing in Portuguese and English, with shows in USA, Canada, Europe and Japan.
